I started writing professionally about four years ago; my Titanic connection at being related to the ships first violinist, John Law Hume, inspired me to write books in his memory. To date I have five titles published; three in Scotland by ‘Stenlake publishing’ and two in Canada by ‘Formac publishing’ and ‘Nimbus publishing’ both Canadian publishers are in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
At the moment I am writing my autobiography that covers the past four years. I have experienced so many things since my books were published; live TV, meeting and working with celebrities, radio, newspapers, magazine articles and everything from great experiences to dealing with others jealousy. It’s all going in, warts and all!

In this picture I am holding a treasured violin that recently came to light. It is one that my great grandfather, Andrew Hume, made in 1927.
